Bluefruit Connect: Control and Communicate with Your Projects via Bluetooth LE
Bluefruit Connect is a free Android application developed by Adafruit Industries in the category of Education and Reference. Its main function is to wirelessly connect your Android device to Adafruit Bluefruit LE modules for control and communication with your projects. With Bluefruit Connect, you can send Android sensor and GPS data wirelessly over Bluetooth LE, control Arduino digital, analog, and PWM pin input and output, and control NeoPixels individually with an interactive color picker.
In addition to these features, Bluefruit Connect also has a control pad for simple directional control of your projects, a UART monitor to send and receive messages in hex or ASCII format, and a serial plotter to plot numeric data graphically. You can also scan and list nearby Bluetooth LE peripherals with RSSI and advertisement data, connect and list peripheral services and characteristics in info mode, and send images via UART. Lastly, you can update your Bluefruit device to the latest firmware version from within the app.
